The Community Centered Healthy Relationship Project (Strengthening Wyoming Teens in Low Income TANF Families Through Skill Based Relationship Training and Economic Self Sufficiency) will provide parenting and healthy relationship education and skills training at a critical point in the Head Start and Triumph Teen Parent’s family life cycle.  Strengthening Wyoming Teens in Low Income TANF Families Through Skill Based Relationship Training and Economic Self Sufficiency. The project’s objective is to help couples and individuals to increase their knowledge and skills, to improve the likelihood that they will form and sustain healthy relationships, co-parent effectively and develop self-sufficiency.  Additionally, the project aims to assist couples in connecting to other resources that may be needed to remove barriers to their family’s success.  Wyoming’s project will work through a partnership with Head Start, WHMI Strong Families Strong Wyoming, Training & Employment at Triumph High School. Wyoming Coalition Against Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault, WY Association of teachers of Family and consumer sciences,  Safe Harbor, WY Dept.’s of Family Services and Workforce Services. This project is funded by The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Administration for Children and Families, Office of Family Assistance.  The project funding period is October 20, 2011 through September 20, 2014.
